Equipment Rental Policy

Attention Rental Policy Changes in effect.

Effective January, 2013

In order for Family 1st Medical to set up any oxygen service, we require a prescription from your Physician.

Oxygen Concentrator Rental includes:

  • Rental of the oxygen concentrator
  • Rental of a backup system (includes cylinder & regulator)
  • Free set-up (if the rental period is less than 30 days a set-up and equipment rental fee may be charged)

Your regular respiratory/technical assessment visit will include:

  • Listen to your chest (Auscultation)
  • Measure O2 levels in blood (Pulse Oximetry)
  • Check vitals (pulse, respiratory rate & blood pressure)
  • Assessment & explanation of respiratory medications and MDI/spacer use
  • Assessment of concentrator for oxygen purity, pressures and flow
  • Documenting the assessment and sending it to your Physician
